S/ 1,177 million to restart implementation of 48 road projects.

Within the economic reactivation plan proposed by the Peruvian government after the state of emergency product of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) announces an investment of S/. 1,177 million soles that will be used to restart construction work on 48 road projects in 18 regions of the country.

These construction works were paralyzed due to the declaration of the state of health emergency to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The works will generate a positive impact in the regions of Amazonas, Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco, Huancavelica, Ica, Junín, Lambayeque, Lima, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, Tacna and Tumbes.
